Southwestern Illinois College hit two homeruns in the nitecap of a doubleheader with Triton College on Saturday to split a doubleheader.  Triton won the opener of 11-4 pounding out 11 hits and 11 runs in their season opener for the win.  David Miller and Jordan Phillips hit solo homeruns to lead the Blue Storm in the 4-1 win.   Trey Burris went the distance striking out 8 and allowing 1 unearned run and only 2 hits for the split.

     On Sunday, SWIC plays Triton in the last game of the 3 game series in a noon start.
