Wabash Valley beat Lincoln Trail twice on Sunday to win the Region 24 DI Baseball title.  This is Wabash's first region 24 basball title since 1988 when they advanced to the NJCAA World Series.

On Saturday, rains force a delay in the action and only two games were played.  In Game one, Lincoln Trail defeated Olney 4-3 in 10 innings.   Then in game two, Wabash beat Olney 4-2 to send Olney home and setting up a 2 of 3 series with two games on Sunday.

In the opener, Wabash pounded out a 14-4 win over Lincoln Trail and then in the second game of the day they downed Trail 11-5 to win the championship.   Wabash catcher Jacob Rhodes was name MVP of the tournament.
