INA - The Rend Lake College Warriors will play top-seed Lincoln College at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the NJCAA Division II Region XXIV men's basketball semifinals.

RLC beat Lincoln Land College today, 78-66, in Ina. Lewis and Clark will play Illinois Central at 4 p.m. tomorrow after the Trailblazers beat John Wood 68-67 and the Cougars beat Danville Area 75-67. The two winners will play Tuesday in the championship game hosted by the higher seed.

Point guard Reggie Reed had a game-high 15 points and went 9 for 11 from the line while sophomore Brian Gamber pitched in 14 and sophomore CJ Trotter had 13. RLC hit 214 field goals, seven from three-point range, and went 23-33 from the free-throw line to beat the Loggers. The Warriors led 30-23 at the half.

Lincoln College beat the Parkland College Cobras 87-78 in the first quarterfinal game of the day on Saturday. Don Gavin, a 6-4 sophomore from Chicago, led all scorers with 27 via a dozen field goals and 3-6 at the line. RLC will have to beat the Lynx for a third-straight time tomorrow if they are to advance to the championship game. The 6 seed Lewis and Clark would have to get past #2 Illinois Central for RLC to host the final game on Tuesday. First for RLC, however, are the Lynx who had four players in double digits, went 24-39 from the line and put only one three-point basket toward their 87 points against Parkland.
