On Thursday, the region 24 baseball tournament continued and now three teams remain for this weekends action.

     In the Thursday morning game, SW Illinois came from behind and beat Lincoln Trail 9-5 knocking out Lincoln Trail from the tournament.

     In the 1pm contest, Wabash Valley scoreed 3 runs in the 3rd and 3 runs in the 4th and went on to beat Kaskaskia 14-4 in 8 innings.  This sent Wabash Valley to the championship game and Kaskaskia to the losers bracket game.

     In the 4pm game, SW Illinois scored 9 times in the first inning and went on to beat Olney 17-2 knocking Olney out of the tournament.  SW Illinois adances to the noon game vs Kaskaskia.  The winner of that game will play Wabash Valley and need to beat them twice to win the title.
