     The Southwestern Illinois Blue Storm came from behind and beat Wabash Valley to win the Region 24 Baseball Championship.   After losing the first game of the tournament to John A. Logan the Blue Storm won 6 consecutive games to cap a miracle finish to the tournament. 
     Wabash scored twice in the first but the Storm evened the score in the 6th and scored 3 runs in the 8th to go ahead for good.
     Trey Burris pitched 6 strong innings, while Sean Spainhoward pitched 2 scoreless ininngs to pick up his third win of the tournament .  Zach Penny pitched a scoreless ninth for his 4 save of the tourney,
     The Blue Storm now play in Chicago at Region 4 winner Trition College.   The Iowa winner is Iowa Western and that is who the Storm will play on Saturday morning at 9:30 am.  The loser of that game will then play Triton and the winner of the game will face Triton at 3:30pm.  The tournament finishes off on Sunday.
     Southwestern Illinois' record now stands at 44-14.
