PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. - Panther softball senior Taylor Cicardi, daughter of Mark and Candy Cicardi of Pinckneyville, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Rend Lake College Lady Warriors and Coach Dave Ellingsworth in the fall of 2011.

There were no home runs and a few errors in the field, but still plenty of drama Tuesday afternoon at Kaskaskia College in Centralia as John A. Logan College erased an early 1-0 deficit to claim a 4-2 win over top-seeded Lake Land and earn its first-ever Region 24 Tournament title.
